Lori has more than 15 years of experience working in digital media. Her expertise includes user experience, strategy, information architecture, content development, user research, and product development. Her work at IfThen has included user experience and creative direction for clients such as Cox Media Group, National Geographic, the Weather Company, Cartoon Network, the University of Chicago, Hiscox, and USA Today. She has also worked with a number of start-ups and non-profits including the New Georgia Encyclopedia. Projects have included redesigning and refreshing Cox Newspaper free and subscription services, UX consultation for National Geographic, and user experience and creative leadership for the USA Today.com redesign.

Prior to IfThen, Lori led the User Experience and Product Development teams for CNN Digital for seven years, conceptualizing and evolving the experience of numerous products including CNN.com, CNN/Facebook integration, CNN’s iPhone app, and Politics and Elections Coverage. Her background also includes user experience work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a Master’s degree from GA Tech’s HCI program where she worked with electronic learning communities and on designing and developing Brain User Interfaces for patients with ALS.
