The Basics: Enterprise Content Management

AGCO operates subsidiaries worldwide. Each requires its own website catered to its specific audience and market. Through our expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), IfThen helped AGCO leverage AEM to create and update sites faster and more cost efficiently on a global scale.

We started by building a core enterprise content-management platform in AEM. It includes services, tasks and components (image galleries, store locators, etc.) common to the needs of all AGCO’s global business arms. The platform also promotes design standardization and asset sharing allowing for centralized control of AGCO’s worldwide digital footprint. 

 

Closing the "Experience Gap”: Experiential Tech
AGCO's brands make enormous machines you have to see to believe. Its connected-farm solutions are even bigger. As a result, AGCO regularly turns to IfThen's experiential technology partners to bring larger-than-life products to life in showrooms, tradeshows, and, sometimes, farms themselves.  

Pushing Mobile Further: AR/VR Apps

There is no larger agricultural trade event in the United States than Farm Progress. To cut through the clutter of the thousands of vendors exhibiting, AGCO worked with IfThen to create a custom augmented-reality app that allowed Farm Progress attendees to visualize the farm of the future as envisioned by AGCO. The experience was later altered to a lightweight virtual-reality app for salespeople to use in the field.

 

Innovation on the Exhibit Floor: Gestural User Interfaces
The world’s largest growers meet at the Agritechnica trade fair each year. When AGCO was ready to launch its GPS- and fleet-management it trusted IfThen to create an eye-catching, informative exhibit explaining the platform. To that end, we used gesture-control technology and video wall to illustrate to attendees all the possibilities presented by AGCO innovation.
