
Melissa Wiley is a seasoned digital executive with over 25 years of experience leading innovation at the intersection of technology, strategy, and customer experience. With deep expertise in media, most notably at National Geographic where she spearheaded global digital transformation, Melissa has also brought her leadership to a wide array of industries including IT, telecommunications, federal consulting, and state government.
A dynamic operator and visionary strategist, she has led cross-functional teams through enterprise-scale transformations, from modernizing the publishing products and systems at scale for National Geographic, reimagining the student loan experience for Federal Student Aid while at Accenture Federal Services, and building scalable operating strategies for T-Mobile to become a digital-first company. Her ability to translate complex needs into scalable, mission-aligned solutions has made her a trusted advisor across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Melissa lives in the mid-Atlantic with her husband, two teenage children, two dogs, and one cat. When not at work, she loves to experiment with new recipes and spend time outside. Melissa was previously named Digital Leader of the Year from Women in IT, Silicon Valley, and has held speaking engagements at events such as Women in Tech USA and Google Next.
